Meyer and Hunter are the first Patriot League and Navy swimmers to compete at nationals since 2004, while Galinski is the first Patriot League and Navy diver to compete since Kevin Teague last competed in 2006.
Meyer advanced to the NCAA Championship with an `A' cut qualifying time of 1:42.54 in the 200 butterfly at last month's Patriot League Championships. Meyer clocked a 1:45.16 in the 200 IM, giving him the 20th seed, while his time of 47.33 in the 100 fly earned him the 43rd seed in the race. Hunter, the reigning 500 free, 400 IM and 1,650 free Patriot League titleholder, will compete in all three events at the NCAA meet. The sophomore is seeded 23rd in the 1,650 free with a time of 14:58.72, 31st in the 500 free (4:18.56) and 33rd in the 400 IM (3:51.24).
