CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The final regular-season meets of the 2012-13 season have come and gone, and preparation is underway in earnest for the 2013 Patriot League Championships at Bucknell’s Kinney Natatorium in Lewisburg, Pa.
Colgate earned a split with Connecticut Saturday in Hamilton, N.Y., with the women capturing the victory. Senior Emma Santoro helped out with three individual wins and was recognized for her efforts with the Female Swimmer of the Week nod.
The Navy men wrapped up their dual meet slate last week when they edged Johns Hopkins 130.5-129.5. Freshman Tom Duvall won two races and was named Male Swimmer of the Week.

Patriot League Swimming and Diving Weekly Awards
MALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK TOM DUVALL, NAVY Fr., Durham, N.H.
Duvall captured a pair of victories, taking first in the 200-meter freestyle (1:53.98) and adding another win in the 400-meter free (4:06.26) as the Mids edged Johns Hopkins 130.5-129.5 last week. He was the lone Mid to win multiple individual events against the Blue Jays, and enters next week’s Patriot League Championships with nine victories in 400-meter/500-yard free races this season.
FEMALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
EMMA SANTORO, COLGATE Sr., Fall River, Mass.
Santoro capped off her dual-meet showings this season with three individual wins in the Raiders’ 177-120 win over Connecticut Saturday. She swept the 100- and 200-yard breast events, winning in 1:05.83 and 2:22.63, respectively. Santoro’s third win came in the 400 IM, in which she touched the wall in 4:33.13. She was also part of Colgate’s winning 200 medley relay that started off the triumph over the Huskies.
