PING All-Region Teams

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Four Patriot League men's golfers were among 157 nationwide named to the PING All-Region Teams as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of American (GCAA) on Thursday.

All four honorees were in the Northeast Region as Army's Peter Kim made the list along with three golfers from Loyola University Maryland: Bart George, Brendan Lemp and Matt Oshrine. The 157 selections came across six regions.

Kim had an outstanding freshman campaign for the Black Knights. He won the individual title at the Patriot League Championship on April 27 by five shots, and went on to compete in the NCAA Regionals where he finished tied for 31st place in San Antonio. It was the highest finish by an individual qualifier out of the Patriot League since Navy's Billy Hurley tied for 14th in the regionals in 2004.

Loyola's trio all helped the Greyhounds to the Patriot League title and an NCAA berth in their first season in the conference. Oshrine tied for third and Lemp came in fifth at the League Championship to earn first-team All-Patriot League status, while George tied for 11th place as five Greyhound golfers placed in the top 15. Lemp went on to have an outstanding showing at the NCAA Regionals in Columbia, Mo. last weekend as he placed in a tie for 26th with an even-par 216.
