CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Army freshman Peter Kim and Lehigh senior Crystal Lee were each recognized as the top Patriot League golfers for the month of April after winning individual titles at the Men and Women's League Championship, respectively, last month.
Kim posted a dominant performance on his home course to win the individual title at the Patriot League Men's Golf Championship over the weekend by five strokes with a 1-under 209. Lee also won her title at home as she shot a 224 to claim the Patriot League Women's Golf Championship by two strokes on April 19-20.
Three men and two women also earned honorable mention status for their play last month.

Peter Kim, Army Fr., Metuchen, Pa.
Kim placed in the top six in three of his four events during the month of April, including a first-place showing at the Patriot League Men's Golf Championship at West Point Golf Course over the weekend. He topped the field by five strokes with a 1-under 209 to earn an individual berth at the NCAA Men's Golf Regionals in two weeks. Kim had the lowest round of the weekend with a 66 in Saturday's afternoon session, and his total score tied for second all-time at the League Championship. That performance came after Kim tied for sixth at the Rutherford Intercollegiate on April 19-20, and led Army to a second-place finish in a 16-team field by placing second at the Wildcat Invitational on April 1. Eight of his 11 rounds during April were at 73 or better, including all three at the Patriot League Championship.
Patriot League Female Golfer of the Month
August Jonas, Navy Jr., Jacksonville, Fla.
Crystal Lee, Lehigh Sr., Mahwah, N.J.
Lee had a memorable finish to her career by winning the individual title on her home course, Saucon Valley Country Club, at the Patriot League Women's Golf Championship on April 19-20. She put home a birdie on the 54th hole to take the lead and went on to win by two strokes. Lee had previously placed 13th to lead Lehigh to a team title at the Red Flash Invitational on April 14-15, and shot 76 or lower in her final four rounds of the month. Lee becomes the first two-time winner of the Patriot League Female Golfer of the Month award after also claiming the honor last March.
Jonas placed second at the Patriot League Championship after tying for eighth at the Navy Spring Invitational the previous week.
Brendan Lemp, Loyola Sr., West Hartford, Conn
Lemp helped Loyola win the Patriot League title in its first season with a fifth-place showing, and had a scoring average of 72.86 for the month.
Carlos Kim, Lehigh Jr., Chula Vista, Calif.
Kim finished fourth at the Navy Spring Invitational, won stroke play against rival Lafayette and placed sixth at the Patriot League Championship in the last two weeks.
Kristyna Pavlickova, Boston University Jr., Prague, Czech Republic
Pavlickova placed fourth at the Brown Bear Invitational and second at the Patriot League Championship in her last two tournaments.
Lauren Bernard, Bucknell Sr., Malvern, Pa.
Bernard placed third at the Patriot League Championship to help lead the Bison to the team title.
