Patrick Muffley
Muffley joined the Patriot League office staff in August 2007, and was promoted to Associate Director for Sport Management and Compliance in January 2009. Muffley now oversees each sport group and administrative committees, directs the Patriot League compliance operation, serves as the liaison to the officials' assignor and facilitates the NCAA governance cycle with League institutions. He also contributes to the Patriot League's championship administration. Muffley joined the Patriot League after a two-year stint at Brown, where he served as the Athletic Administration Intern from 2005-07 and as the travel coordinator from 2006-07. His experiences at Brown spanned many different departments including compliance, facilities and operations, travel coordination and football operations. He also worked on Brown's NCAA Recertification in Spring 2006. After earning his Juris Doctorate in May 2004 from the New England School of Law in Boston, Mass., Muffley worked as a Legal Associate at the Law Office of William F. McGowan. In 2003 he served as a NCAA Compliance Intern at Northeastern. Muffley earned his bachelor's degree from Syracuse University in 2001. He majored in law and public policy and minored in economics.
