For over a century and a half, Fordham University has served American society by offering instructions in the liberal arts and selected professional areas, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The Fordham tradition in excellence is grounded in the Jesuit philosophy of education which traces its roots to the 16th century.

The University offers 65 majors to its 6,578 students in four undergraduate colleges, in addition to 6,973 students in its six graduate and professional schools. Approximately 95 percent of the 594 faculty members hold the highest degree in their field.

Fordham is a member of the Patriot League for football only.
