
The 2008 Patriot League Rowing Championship will be held in Camden County, N.J., on the Cooper River. Competition will take place on Sunday, April 27. The rowing championship is a full-field competition, including Patriot League rowing participants: Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lehigh and Navy.
The 346-acre Cooper River Park runs through Pennsauken, Cherry Hill, Collingswood and Haddon Township in New Jersey. The park is bounded by North and South Park Drives, Route 130 and Grove Street. Cooper River Park's race course is an Olympic-distance 2,000-meter straightaway. Cooper River Park has hosted numerous major rowing events, including the U.S. Olympic Trials and the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) championships.
