The Navy Midshipmen hosts the Army West Point Black Knights on Saturday, April 13 on CBS Sports Network. The game is at 3:30 p.m. in Annapolis, Maryland. Dave Ryan will be doing play-by-play while Evan Washburn will be providing analysis.
The Patriot League Network will feature three men’s lacrosse contests on Saturday, April 13, starting with Colgate at Holy Cross and Loyola Maryland at Boston University, both at noon. Lafayette wraps up the day as the Leopards welcome Bucknell for a 3:30 p.m. contest.

In the Patriot League....
* Loyola Maryland’s Kevin Lindley and Pat Spencer are first (4.44) and second (3.22), respectively, in goals per game.
* Army’s AJ Barretto leads the League in goals against average with an 8.27 average, followed by Lehigh’s James Spence (8.36). Barretto also has compiled a .605 save percentage in nine games while Spence has a .578 percentage.
* Loyola Maryland goalie Jacob Stover leads the Patriot League with 14.33 saves per game, while Army West Point’s AJ Barretto in second with 12.40.
* As a team, Lehigh leads the League in groundballs per game with 40.60, followed by Boston University with 36.18 and Army West Point (32.90).
* In nine games, the Greyhounds have averaged 9.11 assists per game, followed by Boston University (8.27) in 11 games.
In NCAA Division I....
* Spencer is on top in points (7.45), while Lindley checks in at the same spot in goals (4.27) per game.
* Spencer is also second in assists per game (4.18) and tied for sixth in goals per game (3.27). He is the only player ranked in the top-10 in goals, assists and points per game.
* Lehigh’s Conor Gaffney is third in the face-off winning percentage category with a .664 percentage.
* Boston University’s Chris Gray comes in at third, dishing 3.75 assists per game. He is also third in points per game with 6.33.
* Barretto holds a 8.89 goals-against average for fourth in the nation followed by James Spence with a 9.03 average for sixth.
* Barretto is also sixth in save percentage (.577), followed by Spence in 13th (.562).
Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse in the Polls
In the
Inside Lacrosse Media Poll, Loyola Maryland is in the second spot with Lehigh at 17th and Army West Point at 20th. In the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Coaches Poll, the Greyhounds are ranked second, followed by Lehigh (17th) and the Black Knights (20th). Boston University is receiving votes in both polls.
Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Tournament
The Lehigh Mountain Hawks and the Loyola Maryland Greyhounds have both clinched a berth in the Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Tournament. The tournament is comprised of six teams and will begin on Tuesday, April 30 with the quarterfinals (on PLN), followed by the semifinals on Friday, May 3 (on CBSSN). The Championship contest will be hosted by the top seed on Sunday, May 5 on CBS Sports Network.
Patriot League Announces Over-The-Air Content on Stadium For April
Stadium will broadcast three more men’s games in April, continuing with Boston University welcoming Loyola Maryland for a noon game on April 13, followed by Navy vs. the Terriers on April 26 at 4 p.m. A Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse quarterfinal game will also be broadcasted on April 30.
Pat Spencer Named to USILA Men’s Lacrosse Team of the Week (4.9.19)
Loyola Maryland senior attackman Pat Spencer nabbed a spot on this week’s USILA’s Team of the Week. The senior netted five goals and dished six assists in the team’s 15-9 win over Lehigh this past Saturday. Spencer became the first player in school history, and the first NCAA Division I player since 2015 to score 10 or more points in back-to-back games, as he totaled 11 points against Lehigh. This is the sixth time this season Spencer has been named to the team.
Six Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Players Named to Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-America Teams
Six Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse student-athletes received spots on the Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-America Teams. Loyola Maryland senior attackman Pat Spencer and freshman midfielder Chase Scanlan, along with Army West Point senior defender Johnny Surdick earned first-team accolades. Lehigh senior defender Craig Chick is the lone Patriot League student-athlete on the second team, while Boston University sophomore Chris Gray and Loyola Maryland senior goalkeeper Jacob Stover were named to the third team.
Five players were placed on the honorable mention list; Army West Point senior goalie AJ Barretto, Lehigh junior faceoff specialist Conor Gaffney, Loyola Maryland sophomore attackman Kevin Lindley and junior long-stick midfielder Ryan McNulty, and Navy senior midfielder Greyson Torain.
