Navy and Richmond Tied Through 36-Holes; The Mids’ Morgan Frazier is the Individual Leader

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Defending champion Richmond and host Navy are tied with team scores of 59-over par 635 after 36-holes at the 2018 Patriot League Women’s Golf Championships, at the par-72, 6,085-yard U.S. Naval Academy Golf Course in Annapolis, Md.
The Mids and Spiders turned in identical scores in each of the two rounds, both shooting 321 to tie for the lead through 18-holes, before each shooting 314 in the second-round. Bucknell is third after Saturday’s action with a 71-over par 647, while Boston University (+75, 651), Lehigh (+81, 657) and Holy Cross (+131, 707) round out the team scores.
The Mids sophomore Morgan Frazier leads the field by two strokes, carding an 8-over par 152 during the first day, including a 2-over par 72 in the first round. Frazier’s first-round score was the best of the day among the 35 student-athletes. Bucknell junior Katie Childers is second overall, shooting a 10-over par 154 through 36-holes, while Richmond junior Sophie DiPetrillo is currently third at 12-over par 156.
Boston University sophomore Zhangcheng Guo and Richmond junior Annie Collom are tied for fourth-place at 14-over par 158, while Richmond freshman Lizzie Reedy and Lehigh freshman Angela Ding are tied for sixth-place at 15-over par 159.
