Patriot League Network Announces Patriot League Game of the Day on Roku, Xbox, Amazon Fire and Apple TV

Holy Cross field hockey hosts Columbia in first game of the day.

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Sunday’s field hockey match between Columbia and Holy Cross will be the first Patriot League Game of the Day to appear on the Roku, Xbox, Amazon Fire and Apple TV platforms through the Patriot League Network’s partnership with Campus Insiders.

The Crusaders will host the Lions at noon EST at Hart Turf Field and be one of eight games scheduled to be streamed live during the month of September.

In addition to Holy Cross field hockey and volleyball, Loyola Maryland volleyball, Navy women’s soccer and Boston University field hockey and men’s soccer will be featured in the first set of games through the streaming services.

Additional content, including Patriot League football, basketball and lacrosse will be announced throughout the course of the 2016-17 academic year.

“This is another opportunity to provide more exposure to our programs and student-athletes for a national and international audience,” Commissioner Jennifer Heppel said. “We are very excited to strengthen our partnership with Campus Insiders and grow our brand.”
