Patriot League Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich announced Thursday the promotion of Jessica Siegel to Associate Media Relations Director.

"We are very pleased to promote Jessica in recognition of all that she has done for the Patriot League," Femovich said. "Jessica has contributed greatly to the work of the League office and has shown a tremendous amount of professional growth."

Siegel joined the Patriot League staff in October 2004 and serves as the primary Patriot League contact for women's basketball and various other sports. In addition to her media relations duties, she contributed to the League's championship administration and branding and public relations initiatives, along with being involved with the League's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.).

The Dayton, N.J., native earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Ramapo College in May 2003. During her time there she served as the assistant to the sports information and marketing director. In August 2005, she earned her master's degree in Sports and Recreation Administration from Temple University.

Prior to the Patriot League, she spent two summers as the promotions and group sales intern at the Somerset Patriots, an independent minor league baseball team based out of Central New Jersey and was an administrative intern at the Northeast Conference.
