CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Patriot League play continues this weekend in field hockey, men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball, and it's on the doorstep in football. Patriot League Network will have the action from several key contests this weekend, along with non-League sports and a presidential inauguration.

Three League battles take center stage Friday, all at 7 p.m., with a pair of contests in volleyball and one in field hockey. In volleyball, Army heads to Baltimore to visit Loyola Maryland, while Colgate puts its 2-0 League record on the line at 4-1 Lehigh. In field hockey, Holy Cross hosts Boston University in the Massachusetts rivals' first meeting as a League contest.

A full plate is on tap for Saturday, beginning with the weekend's lone football game on Patriot League Network when Holy Cross welcomes Harvard at Fitton Field for a 1 p.m. kick. Also set for 1 p.m. starts are key women's soccer League tilts as Lehigh goes to Boston University and Holy Cross hosts Lafayette. Meanwhile, American field hockey looks to build off last week's win at Boston University when it visits Colgate at 1 p.m.

One League volleyball battle is scheduled to air on Saturday with Bucknell hosting Lehigh at 5 p.m.

It's a full night of soccer on PLN with four contests in all, two each in men's and women's soccer. In men's soccer, Lehigh welcomes Bucknell and Loyola Maryland visits Colgate, while in women's soccer PLN features a battle of League unbeatens when Colgate and Navy, both 2-0, square off in Annapolis, Md., while Army visits Loyola. All four soccer matches are set for 7 p.m.

League play continues Sunday in volleyball when Lafayette hosts Bucknell for a 2 p.m. showdown in Easton, Pa. The rest of the day's slate features non-League action in field hockey, with Lehigh hosting Rider at 1 p.m. and Boston University entertaining Massachusetts at 3 p.m.

A handful of non-League sports will also air on PLN this weekend, along with one non-sports event. The inauguration of Lafayette President Dr. Alison Byerly will take place Friday at 3:45 p.m. fron The Quad on Lafayette's campus. At 7 p.m. Colgate will host national power Minnesota in women's ice hockey. The two will square off again Saturday at 3 p.m. to complete their weekend doubleheader, while the Colgate men's ice hockey squad welcomes Ferris State at 7 p.m. on PLN. Colgate and Ferris State will play again Sunday at 4 p.m. on PLN.

In addition to the long list of live events, Patriot League Network also boasts several feature stories, highlights and video packages recapping the previous week.
