Aug. 28, 2014

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Patriot League Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich announced on Thursday the promotions of Ginger Fulton to Senior Associate Executive Director for Sports Management and Governance and Senior Woman Administrator and Stephanie Cecco to Assistant Executive Director for Sports Management and Compliance.

In addition to providing direction in the areas of Sports Management and Governance, Fulton will serve as the Patriot League Senior Woman Administrator and become the Women's Basketball Tournament Director. Fulton has served as an SWA at two previous Division I institutions, and has been directly involved with women's basketball and officiating matters throughout her career as a sport administrator.

Fulton joined the Patriot League staff as its Associate Executive Director for Sport Management and Governance in October 2011 after spending the previous 13 years as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator at Seton Hall University.

Cecco will now oversee the planning and administration of the championships for the Patriot League and supervise the Associate Director for Championships while continuing in her role as the primary compliance officer for the League office and as a contributor to the sports management and governance team.

Cecco joined the League office in August 2013 after a five-year stint at Philadelphia University, where she served as Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator.

"This restructuring within the League office places championship administration under the umbrella of sport management and League governance to create a unified team working on behalf of the student-athletes and coaches in the League's 24 sport programs. Ginger is an experienced administrator and in her three years with the League has provided valuable leadership in various areas of League operations. Stephanie is a bright and talented administrator and has demonstrated strong organizational and management skills in her brief time with the League. I am very pleased to promote both individuals and look forward to their positive impact in their respective areas."
