Center Valley, Pa. - Patriot League Director of Championships and Business Operations Darlene Gordon will add to her duties as the League's Senior Woman Adminstrator beginning in 2010-11, it was announced by Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich on Wednesday.

In her role as the League's SWA representative, Gordon will work closely with the Senior Woman Administrators at Patriot League institutions on initiatives within the League's governance structure. She will lead the group in discussions with both the Sport Management Committee and Committee on Athletic Administration.

"I'm excited to be part of such a dynamic group of female administrators, and look forward to working towards collective goals within the Patriot League."

"I congratulate Darlene on this appointment and am confident that she will do an exemplary job in representing the League," Femovich said.

Gordon enters her fourth year with the Patriot League after joining the staff in August 2007. In her role as Director of Championships and Business Operations, she is primarily responsible for the planning and administration of 21 of the 22 Patriot League championships and oversees League equipment and / or ball contracts, budget management of full field championships and student-athletes gifts.
