CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for April 28-May 4 in men's lacrosse, baseball and softball on Monday.

Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Weekly Awards

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JOHN GLESENER, ARMY Jr., A, Camillus, N.Y.
Glesener helped Army score the most goals (17) on a Notre Dame team since 2004 with a career-best six goals against the #5 Fighting Irish on Saturday. Five of Glesener's six goals came in the first half, including two EMO. The junior recorded his fourth-straight hat trick and the 15th of his career as the Black Knights conclude the season with a 9-5 record.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
PAT LACONI, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., SSDM, Morristown, N.J.
Laconi finished one caused turnover shy of tying his career-high, forcing four turnovers in a 13-10 victory over then-No. 6 Johns Hopkins. The senior also picked up four ground balls and scored a goal in settled offense for the Greyhounds to tie the game at 4-4 in the second quarter. Laconi leads all non-pole players nationally with 32 caused turnovers this season.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
CHRISTIAN CARSON-BANISTER, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Fr., GK, Dallas, Texas
Carson-Banister was sensational in a 16-11 loss for the Terriers on Sunday against third-ranked Duke. The freshman stopped 25 shots, an NCAA single-game best this season, while facing 54 shots on goal. Carson-Banister made eight saves in the first quarter to keep BU within one, 4-3, after 15 minutes, and also collected four ground balls.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
SAM TALKOW, BOSTON UNIVERSITY Fr., M, Delray Beach, Fla.
Talkow had one of his best performances of the season on Sunday against one of the top faceoff men in the country in Duke's Brendan Fowler. Talkow won a career-high 16 faceoffs and scored a career-high three goals, including the opening goal six seconds into the game. He also led both teams with 12 ground balls.

HONORABLE MENTION
SEAN WILKINSON, HOLY CROSS So., A, Ridgefield, Conn.
Wilkinson tallied a season-best seven points and also recorded his second hat-trick in the Crusaders 17-12 loss to Dartmouth.

KEVIN BOYLE, COLGATE Sr., D, Atlantic Highlands, N.J.
Playing in his final game for Colgate, Boyle recorded his first collegiate multi-goal game and also added two groundballs in a 19-6 loss at Syracuse.

JACK RUNKEL, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., GK, Fairfield, Conn.
Runkel made nine saves and directed the Greyhounds' defense to a 13-10 victory over then-No. 6 Johns Hopkins.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANDREW SANTOMAURO, LAFAYETTE Sr., CF, North Caldwell, N.J.
Santomauro closed his career in impressive fashion by going 8-for-12 with seven runs scored, two doubles, a home run and four RBIs in Lafayette's weekend sweep of North Carolina Central. He was 3-for-3 with three runs scored, two doubles and an RBI in a 10-3 win in the opener, then went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored as Lafayette won Saturday's nightcap 8-7. Santomauro finished the series by going 3-for-5 with two runs scored in a 7-6 win on Sunday. He finished the year with a six-game hitting streak and a team-high 13 multi-hit games. Santomauro earns the second Player of the Week award of his career after also being honored in 2012.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
J.R. EDWARDS, LEHIGH Sr., P, Wellington, Fla.
Edwards tossed three scoreless innings to keep Lehigh close in a 9-7 loss at Army on Monday. The Mountain Hawks were down 9-7 when Edwards entered in the fifth inning, and the senior allowed just two hits and a walk with two strikeouts to keep Army off the board. Edwards made his season debut on April 16, and has not allowed an earned run in 5.2 innings over three appearances.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ALEX WOINSKI, LAFAYETTE Fr., 1B/DH, Paramus, N.J.
Woinski went 5-for-9 with three doubles, four RBIs and two runs scored in Lafayette's weekend sweep of North Carolina Central. He was 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBIs in each of Saturday's games as the Leopards swept the doubleheader 10-3 and 8-7. He went 1-for-3 with another double in a 7-6 win in the finale on Sunday. Woinski earns his first Patriot League Rookie of the Week award.

HONORABLE MENTION
JACOB PAGE, ARMY Jr., CF, Wilson, N.C.
Page batted .467 (7-for-16) with three runs scored, an RBI and three doubles in four games last week.

JOHN ELSON, LEHIGH Jr., SS, Basking Ridge, N.J.
Elson went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs in Lehigh's 9-7 loss at Army on Monday.

Patriot League Softball Weekly Awards

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
EMILY BAUSHER, LEHIGH Jr., P/DP, New Egypt, N.J.
Bausher hit safely and drove in a run in all three games in sweep of Army over the weekend. The junior drove in Lehigh's first and last runs in a 5-3 game one win and went 3-for-4 in series finale, including 4th home run of the season as Lehigh clinched Patriot League regular season title. Bausher finished the week 5-for-10 at the plate with four runs scored and four RBI and also went 2-0 with 2.80 ERA in 10 innings in the circle for the Mountain Hawks.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
MELANIE RUSSELL, BOSTON UNIVERSITY So., P, San Diego, Calif.
Russell pitched her first career no-hitter and perfect game in a 1-0 victory over Bucknell on Saturday. The sophomore became just the fifth Terrier in program history and second in the last 14 years to pitch a perfect game. Russell struck out four batters and did not allow a single walk in retiring all 21 Bison batters she faced.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
VICKY LATTANZIO, LEHIGH Fr., OF, Fishkill, N.Y.
Lattanzio had a hit and an RBI in all three games in sweep of Army over the weekend. The freshman drove in seven of the Mountain Hawks 22 runs on the weekend. Lattanzio had the go-ahead RBI single in 7th inning of game one at Army and had a 2-run double in 4th inning of game 2 and 2-run single in sixth inning of game 3 to finish the week 4-for-10 with four runs scored and an on-base percentage of .500.

HONORABLE MENTION
HALEY FLEMING, COLGATE Sr., U, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Fleming batted .364, including her second home run, and scored four as Raiders took 2-of-3 at Holy Cross.

GILLIAN MURRAY, COLGATE Fr., P/LF, Whitby, Ont.
Murray led team with a .625 batting average over the weekend as Raiders took 2-of-3 at Holy Cross.

COLLEEN AHERN, HOLY CROSS So., DH/1B, Northbrook, Ill.
Ahern went 3-for-7 Saturday and knocked in the winning run of second game to help Crusaders gain a split with Colgate.

EMILY KRISANDA, HOLY CROSS Fr., 2B, Oak Hill, Va.
Krisanda slugged her first career home run against UMass-Lowell and delivered a 2-run single in 6-5 win over Colgate.
