CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for Feb. 24-March 2 in women's lacrosse, baseball and softball on Tuesday.

Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MEGAN ARK, COLGATE Jr., M, Rochester, N.Y.
Ark exploded for six goals and two assists while also collecting four ground balls to lead Colgate to its first victory of the season with a 13-10 triumph over Drexel on Saturday. The goal and point totals each marked career highs as she put up three goals and an assist in each half. Ark had nine goals in two games last week as she also tallied three in a 12-11 loss to Canisius on Tuesday. Ark leads the Raiders and is second in the Patriot League with 15 goals and 19 points for the season.

MIDFIELD PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KENDALL GARDEN, LEHIGH So., M, Davidsonville, Md.
Garden filled the stat sheet in all areas in two games for Lehigh last week, totaling three goals, four assists, nine ground balls, eight draw controls and eight caused turnovers as the Mountain Hawks split contests against Binghamton and New Hampshire. She had two goals, two assists and four ground balls, caused turnovers and draw controls in a 10-9 loss to the Bearcats on Tuesday, and put up a goal, two assists, five ground balls and four draw controls and caused turnovers in a 9-5 win over the Wildcats on Saturday. Garden stands second in the Patriot League in both ground balls and caused turnovers for the season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MEGHAN CURTIN, LAFAYETTE Sr., GK, Lafayette Hill, Pa.
Curtin picked up a pair of wins between the pipes in identical 12-6 victories against Monmouth on Wednesday and Binghamton on Saturday. She made nine saves in the victory against the Hawks and five in the win over the Bearcats to finish with a .538 save percentage for the week. Curtin ranks second in the Patriot League in save percentage and third in goals against average for the season.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
KRISTA DAMPMAN, LEHIGH Fr., M, Bryn Mawr, Pa.
Dampman had four goals in Lehigh's 9-5 win over New Hampshire on Saturday, and five in two games last week. She tallied a ground ball and draw control as well as a goal in Lehigh's 10-9 loss to Binghamton on Tuesday.

HONORABLE MENTION
LOREN GENERI, NAVY Jr., M, Bayport, N.Y.
Generi had four goals, an assist, three ground balls and three draw controls in a 9-8 win over Villanova on Wednesday.

ANA WHITE, LAFAYETTE Sr., M, Swarthmore, Pa.
White put up four goals, two assists, three ground balls and 10 draw controls in a pair of wins for the Leopards.

LAURA KLEIBER, LAFAYETTE Sr., M, Far Hills, N.J.
Kleiber totaled seven goals and an assist in two wins for the Leopards last week.

CARLI SUKONIK, LEHIGH Jr., A, Penn Valley, Pa.
Sukonik had six goals in two games last week, including four in a 9-5 win at New Hampshire on Saturday.

SARA HENNESSEY, HOLY CROSS Sr., A/M, Winchester, Mass.
Hennessey had five goals in Holy Cross' 19-3 win at Stetson on Sunday and six in two games last week.

MOLLY WOLF, LOYOLA MARYLAND So., GK, Baltimore, Md.
Wolf made 19 saves in two games last week, with 11 in an 8-7 loss to James Madison on Saturday.

Patriot League Baseball Weekly Awards
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
COREY FURMAN, BUCKNELL Sr., OF, Exeter, Pa.
Furman batted .538 with a double, triple, run scored and three RBIs to help Bucknell win three of four games in a weekend series against Niagara. He had a triple with a run scored and RBI in a 4-2 win in the opener, and an RBI double to bring home the winning run in a 6-5 victory in the series finale. Furman was also 3-for-3 in Bucknell's lone loss, a 2-1 defeat in Sunday's opener. He has multiple hits in five games this season, and leads the Bison with six extra-base hits and eight RBIs for the year.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
MITCH LEEDS, LAFAYETTE So., P, Rye, N.Y.
Leeds threw 6.2 scoreless innings as Lafayette fell 1-0 in 10 innings to George Washington on Saturday. He scattered five hits and two walks with a strikeout in his first start of the season. Leeds is one of two Patriot League pitchers that has not allowed an earned run in six or more innings on the hill this season.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
BEN WHITE, HOLY CROSS Fr., P, Holden, Mass.
White tossed 6.1 scoreless innings with just three hits and two walks allowed as the Crusaders fell 1-0 in 15 innings against Charleston Southern on Saturday. White also struck out two in his first career start as he took a no-decision. White is the second straight Crusader named Rookie of the Week after Anthony Critelli was honored last week.

HONORABLE MENTION
STEPHEN MOORE, NAVY Jr., P, Roswell, Ga.
Moore allowed two runs, one earned, on six hits with seven strikeouts in eight innings on the hill in Navy's 3-2 loss to Cornell on Saturday.

EVAN OCELLO, HOLY CROSS Jr., OF, Camarillo, Calif.
Ocello batted .429 (6-for-14) with four runs scored and two RBIs in three games for the Crusaders.

PARKER HILLS, LAFAYETTE Jr., C, Denver, N.C.
Hills went 4-for-9 with a run scored and four walks as Lafayette took two out of three in a weekend series with George Washington.

TYLER BRONG, LEHIGH Sr., DH/1B, Bethlehem, Pa.
Brong started Lehigh's spring break trip by going 4-for-8 with two runs scored and an RBI as the Mountain Hawks split two games on Saturday.

Patriot League Softball Weekly Awards
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KRISTEN ZAHN, BUCKNELL Jr., C/OF, Readington, N.J.
Started in all five games and batted .438 with three singles, a double, a triple and two home runs for the Bison. Had a .526 on-base-percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage while scoring four times and driving in seven runs. Went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs in Bucknell's win over Brown, contributing a double and a home run. Went 2-for-3 in a 9-6 loss to UNCG with a triple, two RBI and a run.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
BRAETANA ROY, ARMY So., P, Avondale, Ariz.
Pitched 14 innings in three appearances (two starts, 1 relief) in Black Knights 4-0 week. Earned wins over George Mason and Cornell, finishing period with a 0.50 ERA, a .929 WHIP and walking only one batter. Threw five-hit shutout going distance against George Mason in opening game of tournament.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
ALEE RASHENSKAS, ARMY Fr., 2B, St. Anne, Ill.
Batted .417 at the Patriot Classic with three RBI and four runs scored along with five hits. Stole two bases and did not make an error in 15 fielding chances. Was 3-for-3 at the plate and drove in three runs and scored twice in 9-5 win over Cornell.

HONORABLE MENTION
APRIL ORTENZO, ARMY Sr., SS, Parkland, Fla.
Batted .400 and drove in seven runs in Black Knights 4-0 week. Hit safely in all four games of the tournament including two doubles and a triple.

JACEE ALMOND, BUCKNELL Fr., SS/INF, Concord, Calif.
Batted .400 and walked five times for a .524 on-base-percentage for Bucknell. Drove in two runs and stole a base. Went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI in Bison's 12-3 win over Brown.
