Bucknell led all schools with 127 honorees, as the Bison topped the charts in men and women's cross country and men's soccer while tying with American for the most honorees in women's soccer. The Eagles also had the highest total in field hockey, while Lehigh led the way in volleyball. Fordham's 30 selections in football were the most for any Patriot League team.
Following Bucknell on the overall list of honorees was Lehigh (103), American (76), Lafayette (76) and Holy Cross (75).
All seven sports were well-represented, with football teams totaling 170 Academic Honor Roll recipients followed by men's soccer (99), women's soccer (98), men's cross country (88), women's cross country (75), volleyball (71) and field hockey (70).
Forty-two student-athletes logged a GPA of 4.0 or higher in the fall semester, with 16 of those in women's cross country and 10 in women's soccer.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the semester of his or her sport's competition. The Spring Academic Honor Roll will be out in June and include all winter and spring championship sports.
