Live Chat With Bucknell Senior Offensive Lineman Stefan Niemczyk

Join the Patriot League on Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 1:35 p.m., for a live chat with Bucknell senior offensive lineman Stefan Niemczyk from the 2006 Patriot League Football Media Day in Bethlehem, Pa.

Please note, you may begin asking questions immediately, however Stefan will not be answering questions until August 1 at 1:35 p.m.

Billy (Bethlehem, PA): Stefan, will you be getting a haircut before the season starts?
Stefan Niemczyk: I do not plan on cutting my hair any time soon. Since Dorian cut his hair, I might as well hold onto mine as long as possible.

Jeff (Philadelphia): Stefan, Bucknell has a lot of veteran offensive linemen returning this fall. How much will that help the offense?
Stefan Niemczyk: I think that is critical to the success of the offense. If you look at our skill players, they're all very young. To have an experienced offensive line is very advantageous to us.

Brian (Lewisburg, PA): As one of the co-captains of this year's team, how will you help motivate the younger players to get things turned around in 2006.
Stefan Niemczyk: I think just trying to keep them focused to what's important and what are goals are - to win a championship. I think as a young player is it wasy to get overwhelmed and intimidated so its important for me to try and keep them focused.

David (Allentown): Stefan ... what is your major and what are your plans following graduation?
Stefan Niemczyk: I am a business management major. I also take all my science credits to allow me to apply for medical school. I should be taking the DATS sometime this year. I am hoping to apply for medical school after I graduate. I'll probably be studying some form of dental medicine - general dentistry or endodonics (which is what my Dad does).

Ryan, Chicago: Who is the best defensive lineman you have faced in your career in the PL?
Stefan Niemczyk: Strictly in the Patriot League would have to be Aki Jones from Fordham. He's strong and fast. I think he is with the Redskins now. There are so many talented players in this League, but if I had to pick one.
Moderator: Stefan, thanks for taking the time to join us, and wrapping up our first-ever Patriot League online chat. Good luck this season.
Stefan Niemczyk: Thanks for giving me the opportunity. Good luck to all the teams in the League, and it should be an exciting year.
Moderator: Thank you to everyone for joining us today for our first-ever Patriot League online chat. We will be bringing back the chat for Basketball Media Day as well as other events throughout the season, so please keep checking back.
