Eight Patriot League teams and three student-athletes were honored by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) with Scholar All-American awards this week. Team Scholar-American awards are presented to squads with team GPAs of 3.0 or better. Lehigh Ranked 15th in Women's Basketball Division I Academic Top 25
The Lehigh women's basketball team finished with the 15th-best team grade point average on the 2008-09 NCAA Division I Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll announced Thursday evening by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). Head coach Sue Troyan's team finished with a cumulative average of 3.356. The award, given in NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA and Junior College/Community College, awards teams throughout the nation that carry the highest GPA for the entire season. Army's A.J. Glubzinski Named 2008-09 Patriot League Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year
Army men's soccer student-athlete A.J. Glubzinski has already graduated from West Point, but he claimed another Patriot League honor on Wednesday. Glubzinski was selected as the 2008-09 Patriot League Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, it was announced by Patriot League Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich.
